LED Resolution
LED resolution is defined by the distance between the pixels in millimeters. The human eye perceives the space between the pixels differently depending on how far away you are from the screen. In order to maximize budget, it is important to pick the right pixel pitch for your viewing distance.
2.6mm
There is 2.6mm of space between each pixel. This is ideal for viewing 10' away.
2.9mm
There is 2.9mm of space between each pixel. This is ideal for viewing 20' away.
3.9mm
There is 3.9mm of space between each pixel. This is ideal for viewing 30' away.
4.8mm
There is 4.8mm of space between each pixel. This is ideal for viewing 40' away.
Aspect Ratio
LED tiles come in 500mm X 500mm sizes. The number of horizontal and vertical tiles will determine the aspect ratio of the screen. The common aspect ratio for consumer televisions is 16:9. If you are using the screen for IMAG or video playback, you will want your screen to be 16:9 to avoid stretching and cropping.
With LED panels the sky is the limit regarding configuration. You can also use them as set pieces and spread them out for creative stage designs.
